Hi all,

Apologies for the confusing title. I’ll try to explain it easier here.

I have a RODE USB Microphone. It works fine, no issues. Except for when I play rocket league on PC with an xbox 360 controller and use discord.

Less than five minutes into the session my input device in discord changes to nothing detected and nobody can hear me. I can still hear fine through my headset.

All I have to do is leave and rejoin the discord voice channel for it to work again. This can happen anywhere between 3-10 times in a one hour session.

I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and I didn’t notice this even once beforehand.

I’ve disabled every recording device except my actual microphone. It is the only enabled device and is my default device

I’ve gone through all my USB properties and stopped them from turning off in performance.

Any ideas? Google says drivers but it says my USB drivers are all up to date and the microphone has no drivers from what I know.

Never happens in any other game. Only when using the controller.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Mic:
Controller:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Have you tried reinstalling your USB/chipset drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and I didn’t notice this even once beforehand.
You mean you were on Windows 10 and upgraded to Windows 11 courtesy of the internal upgrade path? If so, you will need to create your bootable USB installer for Windows 11 and then reinstall the OS in offline mode(while all drives except the one you wish to install the OS onto is disconnected from the platform).
