Hello everyone!
So here's the issue; my mic has this really annoying hissing noise in the background when I record with it. It makes it sound cheap even though it isn't. I've heard crisp audio that was recorded with this same mic so I know I'm not crazy in thinking it's not the mic quality!
My mic is a V-moda BoomPro mic and my laptop is a MSI GE62Vr
It has Nahimic 2 and Realtek drivers
The mic is plugged into the 3.5mm input
I have tried uninstalling the Nahimic/Realtek drivers, playing with boost and audio levels and editing software to no avail!
Any advice?
EDIT: I should also mention that when I have Nahimic installed, my mic becomes very quiet. So quiet I have to uninstall. Even with no software interefering, my mic still seems too quiet. Yes, my levels and boost are maxed.
