Ok so today I bought a new headset because the last headset I owned, the mic just stopped working for some reason. Although, now I'm suspecting that my old headset wasn't broken at all and it's an issue with my PC. Here's what I know/have done:
-My audio jack works, so I get sound in my headphones
-Whenever I plug in the mic jack, realtek picks it up as a mic (so NO issues here)
-I've tested the mic through Teamspeak and Skype, with no success
-I've tried the back ports on my computer as well, with no success
-I tested the headset on another computer in my home and both the audio and mic WORK
-My realtek audios are up to date, according to my device manager in the control panel
-I reset my PC
-Also I checked to see if the mic was muted in my setting and on the physical volume control attached to the cord.
Also in case you're wondering, the headset I have is Razer Kraken Pro.
