Question mic not picking up in discord or skype

hello, guys, I need help with something so my mic is picked in obs and windows settings but when I try to use discord it doesn't pick up anything i have tried reinstalling the drivers and uninstalling them nothing I do seems to work. Any ideas?

Try calling someone from your phone or another device using the mic, the mic might be dead. For me, the first thing to go on headsets is the mic
