[SOLVED] Mic very quiet after bios update

After updating my Asus Tuf X570 Wifi's bios to the current version, my microphone on my Razer Kraken headset has gone extremely quiet. I have tried reinstalling my Realtek audio drivers to no avail. It's not my headset as I've tried a different one and it is also quiet. It's also not Windows 10 since I have the mic volume all the way up and the mic booster set to +30db. Any help would be appreciated as I've tried to fix this problem for hours now.

reset the BIOS

reinstall audio drivers

Just had to reinstall my audio drivers 5 times for it to function properly again. I guess if it doesn't work the first time just try a few more times.
