Good though it is, the only problem with the Corsair SF psu is that Corsair does not supply the ATX bracket. One has to buy/order it separately.
Thermaltake and Silverstone include the ATX bracket in the box.

i have the Cooler Master HAF 912 - Mid Tower Computer Case with High Airflow, Supporting up to Six 120mm Fans and USB 3.0 do i need it

While the Corsair SFX is an excellent SFX psu, you'd be just as well off using a standard ATX psu, which will probably have a larger fan, so has the capability of running cooler and quieter and considerably cheaper.

Power Supply: Corsair - CXM (2015) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($46.99 @ Newegg)

If you already have the SFX psu, then it's fine for use in the Haf case, but you will need that adapter, the Haf is ATX.
