Microphone and windows 10

Hello,

So i have a pc with a headphone port and a microphone port. My mic is connected to my headphones so if i plug it into the headphone port the mic wont work and if i put it into the microphone port the headphones don't make the sound but the mic works. Is there a way i can fix this?

The ports are for specific inputs. One for mic and the other for head/earphones. There is nothing that you can do to fix this as the specific ports only read the dedicated input device.
