So, I'm having an issue with my microphone. It was working about 2 weeks ago when I last used it, but now it seems to be not.
When I plug it into my front pink jack, it appears to be working and all. I went into Team Speak options to go and talk to my friends, and it does this

note: this is me not talking into the mic AT ALL.
I thought that was strange. I unplugged my mic from the front pink jack, and what?? it says there's something still plugged in

this is AFTER i unplugged my mic, there is NOTHING in that jack.. so why does it seem to be picking up noise?

I checked if my jack ports were plugged into my motherboard right, and yes it is. Checked probably about 4 times now.

Any ideas why this is happening?

just tried that. I plugged it in, realtek acknowledged something just got plugged in. I went into Team Speak to test it. I tried talking, it didn't pick anything up, but then I blew into the microphone and it could hear that. Like, when I put the mic right upto my mouth and i blow on it, it can hear that.. I just wonder why it can't acknowledge my voice?
