Question The z790 aorus pro x issue

I've got a GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS PRO X motherboard with a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Gaming OC and a Samsung 990pro NVMe SSD. Heard that the first NVMe slot shares lanes with the GPU slot. Will putting my NVMe in the first slot impact performance? Or should I opt for another slot? And does this apply to Gen 5 NVMe too?

The motherboard has 5x M.2 slots, of which all of them run at PCIe 4.0x4 speeds(except one) at the very least.

I would drop the Samsung 990 Pro into M2A_CPU slot.

But like this the first m.2 slot that is gen 5 will be useless
