Question Microphone/headset for taking notes

Hi,

I am looking for a microphone/headset for taking notes (Dictaphone). Both while in the house but also outside while walking. What are my potions? Middle to high range product is what I am looking for.

Are you looking for suggestions on a dictaphone or a headset to pair with a dictaphone(sound recorder) or both? Preferred site for purchase? Budget for your purchase? Where are you located?

I'm looking for a device that I can talk into it while I'm at the computer or while out walking. I use Dragon Nuance on my PC so need a microphone/headset for that... but I also want something that I can walk in the hills with that can record my voice and then put it on to the PC when I get home. If both can be on the same device that great but two separate devices might be fine also.

As for price, function will come first, then I will think about price. I guess start me on the mid range products first. I really just want to get educated on what products are available. I don't want to buy something only to learn later that there was something better on the market... if you know what I mean.

I’d expect there are loads of apps to do this if you have a smart phone. Then you can just look for a set of wireless headphones/earbuds. This would seem the easiest way to have a solution you can walk around with. Just take a careful look at the microphone quality in reviews for headphones/earbuds.

I don't use Smart phones... but thank you anyway.
