Question microphone making loud static noise

my earphone mic is making ridiculously loud static noise to the point where people cant hear my voice at all i have checked to see if its the same on other devices such as my phone and laptop and it works perfectly fine seems to be some type of problem from my pc. how do i fix this issue ?

this thread should not be posted under "CPUs".

are you using a front panel audio port? if so, try a rear I/O plate mic port.
