Microphone not working in Windows 7 Inspiron 1525

Hello,
I have a problem with my audio settings after I installed windows 7 ultimate and I am able to hear songs and microphone doesnt work properly.
I have dell Inspiron 1525.It was working fine in Vista 32 bit.
Searched in google but could not find any solution

1.) go to dell web site and search for driver and downloads for you unit
2.) run windows updates
3.) try to install the vista drivers

it worked for me, I just upgraded a 1520 or 1525 (don't remember) w/ RAM and Win7 Pro x32
found all drivers and after BIOS update from dell website, i shipped it out.
runs like a dream..
