Microphone volume is very low with RealtekHD Audio

Hi,I browsed trough hundreds of threads and I still haven't fixed my problem.
My OS is Windows XP (SP 3)
Which is mainly this - my mic is too low on volume (I use headphones).
If I install Realtek AC97 Audio Driver 4.06 the mic works fine,but then sound comes from the speakers AND the headphones as well.If I install the HD driver - then the same old low volume.
Don't tell me to go to control panel - sound and audio etc - Volume options enable mic etc etc - Did that thousands of times.
I also re-installed all AC'97 codecs and ALL of auido drivers.
I just can't seem to increase the volume.No mic boost thing works,no calibration in MicCal works.Nothing works.

First off, when inserting headphone jack, sound should not come thru both the speakers and headset. Try sliding jack back and forth, slowly. Also might want to download soundmax integrated digital drivers.

That only happens when I use the other driver,not the HD one.
But my sound card supports HD so I don't really need that one.
With HD the sound is OK but the mic is VERY low,I have to literally shout at it to get something.
All mic volume is maxed out and mic boos is on,but still nada...

Also,when I try to install this soundmax I get this "The Audio driver does not support your computer hardware."

Consider Putting sound thru an Amplifier or installing a Wide Range Microphone may solve the issue.

Soundmax: Don't know the problem there, as I use XP also and have no problem installing from my Computer Vendor's site for my model.

Can't get to your dxdiag as my security software blocks that site.
