Question Microphone volume too low suddenly

Hi so I am using an Audio Technica ATR3350 lavalier mic and my friends on discord started saying my voice is too low volume. I tried recorder and I noticed that it was indeed way too low, lower than before. I tried other earphones as mic in but they were too low too, I don't know what to do, please help! The motherboard is an Aorus B550 Pro AC

Make and model of your earphones? How are you connected to the platform(using an adapter)? If the issue cropped up recently while your audio equipment remained the same, perhaps see which version of Windows 10 you're currently on and then make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard. Then try uninstalling your audio drivers and then reinstalling it in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Sennheiser CX275S earphones, and some OEM Nokia ones, both have the same low volume mic problem with added disturbance actually, on the front port on the case as well as the mic in and line in on the back. Windows version says 10.0.19041 build 19041, bios version just says American megatrends Inc f1, 14-05-2020

How do I uninstall my audio drivers? It says uninstall device (advanced), I just don't wanna screw something up

Okay so I did the audio driver thing, still nothing. Should I try anything else before BIOS update?

So I reinstalled windows, and it was fixed, even on discord, but then I downloaded steam and now it's too low again
