The reason why I posted my long comments there is because the policy that seems contradictory IS the current revision, made a day before they posted that blog update. Unless they actually address my concerns, from my reading, mature apps and games are still banned from the Windows store for Indie developers--those that don't have an ESRB cert, at least.

Why don't they allow filters to be used?
Have a mature filter on by default. Problem solved. Most people won't see offending content and people who want to see it all can disable the filter options.

My heart skipped a beat when I read "Microsoft Caves In" - I honestly thought it would continue to say "Removes Modern UI for desktop users" - I honestly thought that's what it will say... I wonder who else thought that?
