They were crappy anyways, i think they need to discontinue some of there other products and Focus on making there crappy OS's Better.

Cool Now we can buy them on discounted prices. I bought my Sidwinder dual strike after it was dicontinued on 1/5th it's original price.

I had a sidewinder gamepad it was good stuff. Back in the day the sidewinder joystick was popular competition against the logitech wingman warrior that I had chosen over it.
This is good news for logitech mostly. The smaller companies like thrustmaster (actually not so small anymore) and gravis will also benefit.

I'd take a Gravis gamepad over any company though... come on, its THE PC gamepad. If I was to by a throttle, Thrustmaster was always the definitive in my mind in that market too.
MS was just mass marketed, but decent quality filler.

If they were smart they'd just make an adapter for their Xbox controller to work on the PC, if you got a couple xbox controllers in the house it might encourage a couple people to go ahead and pick up an xbox..

Athlon 1700+, Epox 8RDA (NForce2), Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 80GB 8MB cache, 2x256mb Crucial PC2100 in Dual DDR, Geforce 3, Audigy, Z560s, MX500

That's pretty cool, I had a sidewinder game pad from back in the day, but lately microsoft gear has been terrible

unless they introduce something fantastic, I'll be sticking with my logitech stuff

It's all good ^_^

Not the greatest ergonomics or bells and whistles but you always know that Micro$oft keyboards, joysticks, mice are going to work and be (mostly) well designed and reliable. At least that's been my experience.

Thrustmaster products are the best, they are TANKS, very solid items. Best joysticks and throttles, driving items and etc. Very programable.
