Question Microsoft edge - When pausing video to ctrl + t for a new tab, screen flickers for a few seconds

Is this a common issue when making a new tab while watching a video? This seems to happen more commonly on streaming sites and videos not on YouTube format. It's not a huge deal but it can be annoying and I'm wondering why it happens.

what are your complete system specs?
