Hmm. I never gave much thought to vista going black - I just restarted and problem went away until next time. happened about once a week on 24/7 home PC. Hasn't happened yet on upgrade to 7 so maybe no connection. It's just par for the course for MS OS. Big deal, you reboot. now if these were production machines, I can understand the concern.

im so glad it didn't effect my 50 systems at the office , just to be safe I turned off auto updates for now!! Windows 7 has really proven trustworthy thus far for me.

crysis never gives anyone the black screen of death. microsoft should have tested all of their updates with crysis to make sure they were safe to distribute. thank you crysis!
