microsoft office 2007 can't open on my windows 8.1

Please, I tried to open microsoft office 2007on my Acer laptop but it didn't open. The laptop has y windows 8.1. What can I do?

Depends on the type of upgrade, an in place upgrade would have retained your programs.
In explorer what entries are there for MS Office (probably under \Program Files (x86)?
Or search for Word or WinWord.exe
