Microsoft Office not working after installing OS to SSD

Hey guys, I installed windows 7 to my new SSD, along with a few programs and games I want to run faster. All seemed to be going well until I found that Microsoft Office doesn't want to work for me. I found the shortcut to Word, Powerpoint, ect. in program files of my HDD, but when I click on them It tells me "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application."
Also, I figured I would just re-install Office onto my SSD since it wasn't working on my HDD but my instillation disk isn't being recognized by my DVD/CD-ROM drive (other disks are just not Office). If there isn't a way to run office from my HDD is there a way to move it to my SSD without re-instaling?
Thanks for the help

Oh gotcha. is that the same Windows you had it on before? or is it 64 bit now and it wasn't before? Kind of odd that one PC can read the disk but this one cant, can it read other cds?
CD is in perfect condition. It works fine on my other build. Maybe I could copy the data from the disk onto a USB drive? I don't think Microsoft still provides an ISO Image for the version I am running. (2007)

I installed it perfectly fine on this computer before. And yes I can read other disks just find on this computer. Same version of windows. This is very strange, but it seems that copying the data from the CD to a USB drive worked just fine (installing onto the SSD as we speak.)
Thank you very much for your help.

It was telling me there wasn't even a disk inserted. Not really sure why. But yes, copying it onto the USB drive from my other computer worked fine 🙂 inserted the drive and ran the setup! all is well. I appreciate your time good sir.

If bothers me that you said "Installed... OS and games...." but didn't said MIGRATED, which should had "clone" everything as-is to your SSD. Me thinks drive letters change has messed things up, and if fresh Install doesn't work, things were not done cleanly and Office "half-thinks" it's already installed, but then some of its registry entries are wrong. Oy, don't know what to tell you other than start everything from scratch and spend tons of time.

I should clarify, his pc couldn't read the CD, but read other CDs. So I wonder if its the auto run that isn't being read, or it can't even be browsed.
