[citation][nom]harshahorizon[/nom]Introducing new version of DX every 18 months(DX 10,DX 11 and upcoming DX 12),that developers not even bother to look at, because freaking consoles stuck in Jurassic DX 9 age.Closing down major pc developing studios.Turn PC exclusive titles into xbox exclusive titles, because they running out of xbox exclusive and Sony been kill MS with exclusive lately. No fraking new XBOX after 5.so graphics are getting shit a by the dayWhat worst this moron can do to us.So leaves us along,we are doing just fine without you MS.[/citation]

Agreed

"A $50 product, then two years later another $50 product and maybe an expansion? I think that needs to change," he said.

Now they want: a $50 product, then two weeks late a 15$ DLC, then a month later another 15$ DLC, then a month later a $10 DLC (arent they consumer friendly). And by DLC I mean what used to be called a content patch.

Honestly for almost all types of games except fighting or sports games I prefer the PC. But even gaming stores like Gamestop are starting to limit their titles. I went the other day to find a new game for the pc and they literaly had less then 10 PC titles available.

I just hope something changes because with Xbox changing it's fees and Sony's unstable Network, the PC gaming world needs to come back strong.

Age of empires. Done like the original 2. Scrap the awful flop that was Age of Empires 3. That is what I am holding out for. Though their suggested change to pricing scares me a little. They going to penny pinch me? Force me to shell out more money in order to be able to compete with those who spend more? I don't know...

They need to bring back Ensemble Studios with all of their original talent. I settle for no less. Gameranger still provides me with ample people to play AOE 1 and 2 with, which I will continue to do else they put out an amazing replacement.

Whatever mysterious product this will be, we do know one thing right now: it will reek of greed and opportunity. Microsoft never fails in those aspects.

[citation][nom]theubersmurf[/nom]They don't want your thanks, just your money. But I'm sure they appreciate the thought too.[/citation]

I always forget that some people actually pay for their OS, it must suck... lol

Can't believe how much detail they're giving away about future games coming out. It's like they leaked their whole roadmap for the next 2 years. /sarcasm

I think what they are talking about doing is having say an RTS game, that if you want to purchase say the upgraded tank, instead of pushing the upgrade button and waiting 2.5 minutes, you purchase it for $.25. So you buy just the engine for $20.00 then buy all the content that you want for $2-3 per map or whatever. Just the impression I got.

I can't wait for AOE online. First it was Starcraft, now Age Of Empires. If Blizzard decided to do a new Warcraft RTS it would be the golden age of PC RTS games all over again.

[citation][nom]LothDK[/nom]If it is revealed as Alan Wake with DX12 support I am not sure what I am going to do![/citation]
Say it ain't so!

You mean like Blizzard or Valve?
They take your money and provide a product in return dont they?

All talk. If ATI and Nvidia and Intel want to continually sell us high end hardware, they better start investing in some game development companies that make games exclusively for PC's.

I don't need a 6 core processor, quad-SLI setup to run Firefox.

coleipoo,

Welcome to Earth. Companies AND people run on greed. Would you work for half a second more if your boss said "whoops, no more cash, please work the rest of the year for free? " Take an economics class - the only reason people push the envelope in performance, speed, quality, etc. is because they want to build a better mousetrap to MAKE MONEY. Not cause they want to improve your life. Improving our lives is an unintended side benefit of capitalism.

I hope MS comes out with a good game. If I get stuck playing a talking paper clip game, I'm going to write a strongly worded letter.
