Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package Will Not Install on my PC, cant play Borderlands 2

I just got borderlands 2, but to play it i need Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. When i try to start the game it says its installing it but doesn't launch. Ive verified game cache reinstalled tried pretty much everything. Please help if you can

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by running Windows Update and install all updates available.
- Next is to try and reinstall the game again.
- If i gives you the same error do try installing this.

- If these doesn't your last option would be to reinstall Windows 10.

yeah i tried
