Question Microstutters and applications crashing

Hi guys,

Since the beginning my pc was not working so well, games kept stuttering, gpu disconnected.
The GPU problem is fixed, a new cable was all I needed. But now I have another problem:
Random applications are crashing and restarting: discord, opera gx, ...
FPS drops and stutters in multiple games: FC24, Rocket League, ...
I'm out of ideas of what it could be, does anyone have suggestions?

My build:
Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 RAM 32 GB 6400 MHz
CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K
SSD1: Samsung SSD 970 EVO plus 500 GB (for windows only)
SSD2: Samsung 990 PRO 4TB SSD (for all the rest)
Power supply: Corsair RM1000e
CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken Elite 360
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 4080 Super 16G Ventus 3X OC
BIOS Version: 7E06vAF
case: NZXT H9 Flow

If I didn't work so hard this summer to buy and build this pc I would have already thrown it out of the window. Thanks in advance for any help!

The system reboots or the application(s) mentioned?

You have one more BIOS pending update.

a new cable was all I needed.
You mean a harness for the PSU/GPU or a riser cable for a vertical GPU mount?

You might want to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator. If the latest driver causes issues, try driver version 566.36.

Did you check with Samsung's Magician app to see if there are any firmware updates? What OS are you working with?

A new power cable for the GPU to the PSU
