Question Mid-build question

Hi All

I’ve finally the time to try putting together a quiet gaming rig.

(Short version, Quiet Base 802, i5-12400, TUF RTX 3080, Seasonic PX-850, a Mag B660 Tomahawk, and a Noctua NH-D15S)

I’m somewhere in the middle of my build, and I’ve discovered a stray cable. I ‘think’ it belongs to the fans at the front of the case, but I’m feeling a bit tired and confused.

Can someone please look at the attached pics and see they can help?

Can you find out where it leads? Maybe it goes to the fan hub in your case? Check image 3 on page 15 of the manual. Does it fit there? The manual doesn't mention the cable, but maybe it fits on the bottom of the fan hub

I had a look in the manual, and I didn't get any further. The cable runs up to the top of the front of the case, where the on-off switch and some headphone jacks are. That said, a bunch of cables disappear up there.

On closer inspection, I don't think it controls a fan, as I found the other fan cable at the back of the case and it doesn't match.

I'm going to the motherboard manual as well, just in case there's an obvious match.

As a quick update - no luck so far (although I made another mistake and had to take the MOBO out and start over). But I've emailed Be Quiet and they were pretty quick to respond (albeit their first guess was no good).

And, after a bit of back and forth (and a few photos exchanged), Be Quiet were able to help me identify a case fan that wasn't plugged in.
