Mid gaming card

Hi,

I've decided to build an MATX machine, and wanted to use it to complete the leftover games I'm my steam library. So need a sub £100 gpu (£80 would be perfect) that will game at 1080p as well as possible.

The options I could see were the 750ti and the 265. But I'd love to know of any better options.

1 card I noticed at a curry's store a hour or so away, was the 270x on clearance at £100 but it wasn't a huge drop in price. I had travelled there for the 270 which was reduced to £45 that no store now has in stock

The R9 270 is going to be your best bet. The 270X isn't worth the extra cash and you can overclock the 270 to match the same speeds anyway.

Problem is I can't find a 270about anywhere. Have you seen one at this price point in stock?

I think you may struggle to find a 270 at this price point unless you buy used. Personally I would go for this at £87.

Yeah that's exactly the 1 I was looking at. Also with it being nvidea it will run Cooper in the matx case where that could be an issue.

I can, with a 2hr drive. They did offer me it for £95 which I think I should have accepted. I was just so angry they didn't have the 270 in stock when their store showed stock.

I'm not sure. I've put in a complaint with curry's so I'll see what they say. I imagine they may knock some money off for my trouble. And just hope the 270x is still there in stock!
