Hey all. I am looking for some opinions on some parts. I am upgrading my current machine and really looking to stay around the 1,200.00 mark for the parts i need. I have a case and an older 550 watt power supply that i will use. With some paste it tops out around $1276, which is fine. Just wondering if there is any glaring issues or if I would be better off dropping down the cpu/mb and upgrading to the 770/780.

Parts:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 Haswell 3.4GHz LGA 1150 84W Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770

MB: ASUS P9X79 LE LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with USB BIOS

HS/Fan: Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 140mm and 120mm SSO CPU Cooler

Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport XT 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model BLS4K4G3D18ADS3

Video Card: EVGA 04G-P4-2768-KR GeForce GTX 760 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support SC 4GB w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card

HD: Crucial M550 CT256M550SSD1 2.5" 256GB SATA 6Gb/s MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Thanks.

An i7 will see around 5fps more than an i7, and for gaming is generally not worth it.

This could also be cheaper if you don't want to overclock the CPU.
