I swap HDD drives so having a HDD slot on the top of the case is a huge advantage for me. In the past, I used the "Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower" -- is there another case like that? I'm looking at a new build with a Asus PRIME Z390-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard. I will likely have one 2.5 SSD and three WD Black 3.5 HDD's inside. In addition to those, I could really use a HDD slot on top of the case. Thanks for looking.

Not really. There are few of these anymore, and what you had was one OF the few, because most of them never worked well due to cheap docking hardware. You might find a few around, but they will be very old designs, or full tower/enterprise solutions for the most part.

You'd be a lot better off simply getting an external hot swap docking port and then any case that suits you.

You can use a 5 1/2" bay for hotswap hdds. Look for the ones marked trayless (those don't need any hardware fitted to hdds, while others are just dumb with a complicated tray assembly that must be fitted to another hdd to be mounted)

This means "look for a case with optical drive slots available."

I have a 3hdd hotswap bay that fits a double slot of optical bays. and a drawer full of hdds so having this hotswap bay was a must for me.
