Hello,

I'm building a new PC, and I can't decide if I should go with a full tower or a mid tower.

What are the benefits of these? Drawbacks?

Solution
Yes, full towers tend to fit everything, are cooler, but cost more and take more space. Should you have graphics cards with aftermarket coolers that blow hot air into the case you really should get a full tower. In fact, I like cases that have a side fan to really keep those graphics cards cool.

Remember, you want more/larger fans blowing into your case than out of it. The resulting positive air pressure in the case will cool better and resist dust buildup. Normally you have the intakes on the front, side, and bottom and the exhausts on the back and top.
mid towers can typically hold anything too.

really boils down to space inside and the amount of hard drives etc it can hold.

with more space inside, airflow is better, typically.

though there are cases that break the norm on that. take the bitfenix prodigy mini itx case. since it is so wide it can have a giant fan on the front, which is very good at moving air and being quiet.
