Middle Click Broken?

I have a Razer Naga Chroma from 2017 and for some reason, the middle mouse button won't work. I'm trying a new game that uses the middle click on the scroll wheel, but before now, I've never had reason to use it. It clicks, but nothing happens. The left and right scroll click work though. The drivers are up to date, razer synapse is up to date, and the button is bound to "scroll click". I'm not sure what could be wrong.

In addition, I tried binding the key right behind the scroll wheel to be "mouse button 4" so I could use it for push to talk in voice comms, but when I have it bound to mouse button 4, I can't get it to work. I currently have it bound to the ` button on the keyboard because I could only get it to work when it was bound to a keyboard button. Anyone have any insight?

Edit: Up until now I've never even used the middle click so I don't think over use is the problem. I will try to fiddle around with it but not sure it will help.

It's typical for razer mouse buttons not to work after not have been used for a while.
My mid mouse didn't work well, as well mouse buttons 4 and 5 didn't work well also.

Things i tried:
Open the mouse and clean it. (Did not help)
Turn the mouse upside down and slam it on the mousepad.(Helped alot)
Apply alot of pressure and roll the wheel while doing it.(Helped a bit)
Apply side pressure to the wheel while pressing it down.(Helped alot)

As we speak my 10yo Naga has no problem at all on the middle button and i can reliably use it to throw grenades on the games.
