Trust GXT 158, in case you request the specific model.

Title says it all.

Scrolling works fine, but if I try to middle click, it doesn't always register. It's most noticeable when I have to hold it down.
In certain games where I have to rotate the camera angle or open a certain interface by holding down middle click, it gets interrupted.
To illustrate better, while rotating the camera in said contexts it loses contact and the camera rotates in only short intermittent moments instead of the whole duration of the click hold.
Interfaces like weapon wheels where I have to keep middle click held down to keep them open keep opening and closing.

Sometimes it works normal, sometimes it's chaotic like I described above, sometimes it doesn't work at all. I have to rotate the scroll wheel in certain positions to get a better/more constant contact.

It's clearly a hardware issue since it all comes down to contact, apparently.

I wanna try to fix it, but what do I have to do?

Solution
For a sub 30USD mouse, does it come with warranty? If so, you should RMA it if you're within warranty period. If you're wondering how to disassemble the mouse, you should remove the teflon feet under the mouse to get to the screws. Cheap mice like them don't have much info about what switches are used under the buttons. The best you can do is disassemble the mouse and then identify the switch used.

I'd advise on a replacement mouse made with quality components. Gaming grade mice(apart from Razer) are built to withstand some abuse.

Meh, it's really old and I think my warranty already expired. I know it's not an expensive mouse, but I got too used to it's sensitivity settings, grip and all that.

Before I even think about spending money on a new mouse, I wanna give it a shot to see if I can bring this veteran back in action. :)
