Civilization six has several different ways you can achieve victory, and one of them is by total domination of all of your enemies. In order to accomplish this, you're going to need to focus on your military forces and capture the capital of every other civilization in the game while maintaining control of your own.
Step 1)Take advantage of any neighbors behind in technology.
If you find that you've reached a new level of technology before your neighbors, and it's one that will give you an edge in combat, don't wait around, take advantage of it and go after them while you're still strong compared to them. Picking off these weaker behind civilizations quickly can help you grow to a size where you can stay ahead of the game and then eventually take on any bigger civilizations you might run into.
Step 2)Use a variety of troops.
Rather than just spamming the strongest troops possible, mix it up with more of a variety of mobile cavalry troops, ranged troops, siege units, and front line infantry. Use your cavalry to capitalize on weaker areas since they can get there quickly, and march the ranged and infantry forces towards your main targets, which should be the enemies capital city. Once you've taken the capital, you can mop up the rest, or force peace on them since you've gotten what you needed for that domination victory.
Step 3)Update your policies often.
Use the best governments for military that you can, and make sure you keep them updated as to what is going to best suit your needs. For a strong military force, you are going to need the money to keep the update bearable for them all, so a policy that will decrease the upkeep costs for them is important. On top of this, you can also use the policy cards for when you can upgrade units for 50% off. Change these whenever you are going to be updating a specific type of unit and you'll keep your costs down and get two upgrades for the price of one each time.
Keep in mind, the civilization that you play will put different abilities into play as well, if you are thinking of playing towards a military victory then the civilizations that would be best for that are Norway, England, Germany, Japan, America and Aztec.
