Hi, i need to know the min. required power supply for this set-up:

Mobo: asus p8h61-m lx3 r2.0
cpu: pentium G2020 (3rd gen ivy bridge)
ram: transcend 2x8gb = 16gb
hdd: seagate 1tb
disk drive: samsung dvd-rw
Maybe a cabinet fan as well
gpu: amd hd 7770
psu: corsair vs450w

Is 450w enough for this set-up? Since the min. recommended power in amd website for 7770 is 500w.

And what if i take a gtx 650ti?

Please suggest the min. power for the set-up for both graphic cards.

1 more question. Does the corsair vs450 have an additional 6pin for external power for the 7770?
Meaning is the psu i mentioned compatible for the 7770?

Oh i forgot!! Is 7200rpm seagate barracuda or something supported by my motherboard?

are u absolutely sure? because the motherboard specs states that it has connectors for serial ata 3gb/s hard disk drives. and all 7200rpm drives i see are 6gb/s. there's no mention of 6gb/s in motherboard specs.

So is there any use of getting a 6gb/s hdd since it goes only 3gb/s. so i can stick to 5400rpm 6gb/s right?

Just to clarify: SATA 3gb/s is limited to transferring data at 3000/8 = 375 MB/s. SATA 6 gb/s can do 6000/8 = 750 MB/s. (OK, the numbers are not exact, but you get the idea). A typical 7200 rpm disk can deliver 80 MB/s (some older 1TB models) or 120 MB/s (e.g. WD Caviar Black 2TB) or 180 MB/s (Velociraptor 1TB). Either way, a 7200 rpm disk will work in SATA 3gb/s ports without losing any of its performance. Imagine a pipe that can take 375 liters a minute and you pour 120 liters a minute - there won't be any problem, it will all go through just fine.
