Minecraft - 20 FPS - Good Rig

PSU: 750 Watts Corsair 80+ bronze
GPU: ASUS AMD 2GB R9 270
CPU: AMD A10 5800k <--- This could run minecraft better than this ^

Any ideas???!!! It's really frustrating as this card should be able to max it out easily...

great mod boosts your fps by a grand amount, [also minecraft seems to fave rigs built with nvidia and intell] (optinion)
-posibly you are not useing your GPU or CPU and using integrated graphics, do you hook your monitor up to your computer from your GPU or through the mother board?

No offence but that is completely 100% useless information. My GPU can run this came maxed out, As I already said >.< And my on board graphics card 7660D can max it out around 50 FPS on 1.7.4 so that is obviously not the case.

it is cause of drivers i bought r9 290x it cant display minecraft try new drivers or reinstall existing

It's not because of drivers.

I don't know if this is good information for you but the GPU has nothing with minecraft FPS. CPU is everything for minecraft.

That would also explain why these 10 year old computers at the elementary school I volunteer at can run Minecraft decently.

Probably some 10 year old OEM Intel or AMD, like pentiums and athalons. They're computers that are you know, donated.

Graphics cards has nothing to do with minecraft, unless you got a shaders mod 😉 try updating openGL, and a java x64 😀
Minecraft uses Prossesor and ram, no gfx card 😛
