[SOLVED] Minecraft frames lacking A LOT with my gtx 1660

about a couple months ago i got my gtx 1660, I was getting around 100-200 frames and I thought that was normal, now I know u guys will probably comment saying that aslong as you got 60fps you are ok. Now let me tell u the reason I need help, so im trying to record, and i record in 1080p with 300fps for smoother view but apparently my pc cant handle minecraft in 300 fps. My specs are:
Ryzen 5 3600
gigabyte Gtx 1660 OC edition
16gb ddr4 2666mhz ram
Aorus x470 gaming 5
Corsair cx650 powersupply
Ive did my research and found out that a ryzen 5 3600 and a gtx 1660 should be able to run minecraft with a near 700 fps (https://www.gpucheck.com/compare-game-cpu/minecraft/amd-ryzen-5-3600-vs-amd-ryzen-5-3600x), the problem is, I cant get more than 200 fps, idk why but i cant but i cant.., I used to have a gtx 1050 and it had about the same fps as my 1660 so I didnt pay attention to the fps when I got my 1660 . I did a 4k render test and this is how it looks:

it looks actually good but the thing is, I can't stand seeing a $250 graphics card struggle to run what its supposed to. Ive reset my pc and for 5 minutes I had 500fps but then after that it went back to its original 100-200. I really need some help to fix

😑 Well, there are lies, damned lies, and then there are statistics. Here is the problem, with the I.T industry being so unregulated, anybody can throw up a few graphs and charts and you wouldn't know for sure if they aren't just trying to sell you a bunch of baloney. You wouldn't have a clue in the world how trustworthy these people are until you try it yourself, and now you should know to take whatever any of these websites are claiming these PC specs are capable of with a grain of salt. For all you know they could be fudging the figures due to their own personal bias.

You're recording. That will drop your fps a bit.
You're using 2666MHz RAM with a Ryzen 3600. Should be 3200 minimum. Not gonna make a huge difference but for some game yes.

What is your FPS if you play in 1080p without recording? What settings are you using? How many chunks are you loading? Minecraft is that kind of game. Hard to tell.

My fps when I record is still 100-200, no matter what I do my fps stays 100-200, Im using all of the lowest settings to get the best fps, My render distance is 9. I record in 300 fps because the recording is smoother.

Try not recording. Try not doing anything except just playing minecraft on a fresh minecraft install. No mods, no shaders activated. Do not connect on a server. At 1080p with low minecraft settings you should have a lot more than 200 fps with that card.

🤔 But is it still a smooth recording at 100-200 fps? If not, changing some settings in whatever software you use to record might work in my experience. A choppy recording is not necessarily the fault of the game itself. Be that as it may, I'd express caution believing what some little twit claims you should be getting just because he makes it look legitimate with graphs and charts that hasn't been thoroughly vetted by any official watch dog group or organization providing oversight.

When I look at your GPU with minecraft on youtube some people do have 200 fps but then you see them go in the settings and change 1 setting and suddenly they have 500 fps. Then they switch something else and sometime it goes up to 1500 fps.

That's impossible that whatever the settings you are changing in minecraft doesn't change your fps from 200. Unless you're capping your fps at 200 those fps should go higher.

For me with a ryzen 5 3600x, 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram, gtx 1060 6gb I get 350 fps with fabulous setting (all other settings max/fancy and 12 chunks) and when I change it to fancy I get 550 fps (+200 fps)
