Hi everyone. I have been having this problem all my life, i dont know what am I doing wrong.

With an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700KF and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (16 gb RAM etc), I just dont get it how am I getting this low fps.

I installed the minecraft launcher yesterday. Today I launch the last version, create a new survival world (no mods no nothing) and then with the default settings i get 80 fps average and I'm like (?).

Then I sacrifice some settings and allocate 8gb RAM instead of 2. How much do I get? 140. I dont get it.

I just want to enjoy my 240hz monitor. So the question is: Is it normal on minecraft with my specs to have such low fps? And if is not could you help me with my issue? thanks!

PD: somewhere in my mind thought it was a good idea to put the render distance to 18, and this is what happened:

I will screenshot every game im playing actually. Keep in mind that i use all the lowest graphics for the best performance even tho I know what type of pc I have. If you have a game you want me to test ill try.

I have noticed this in the Userbenchmark test, doest it mean that is a problem with those components?
Thanks in advance.

you appear to be getting the fps i would expect in the games that actually show it.

maybe try just reinstalling Minecraft.
also search around for what others average fps is in the game with similar hardware.

does what mean there is a problem?
i don't see any included notes or flags regarding any of the components.

Minecraft is one of those titles that runs well, even on potato hardware, but it's bound by cpu single core performance.

The source of the issue is going to be with Java, optifine settings, or whatever(I don't play the game), not the hardware.

Surely there's a Minecraft forum or Youtube channel for this sort of thing? Because, many "I'm not getting 300fps+ in the game, but a plenty playable 100-ish" threads here just die, never getting resolved.

Is minecraft installed on the 970 evo or that 120gb Kingston? Also check your CPU temps. What motherboard do you have?

I Dont really know where do I have it installed, since the normal installation gave me an error I had to install it from the microsoft store.
My CPU temps should be nice as other games that are CPU based like Valorant give me nice fps

I tried in reddit but didnt get any response, it is sad because how can you ask for a game that gives u bad fps in a pretty high end pc while other games dont? I dont know, maybe someone here can help
