Minecraft preformance problems

Okay i have a radeon rx 460 and a amd 4300 quad core processor and 8 gigs of ram and i cant run minecraft 1.10 modpacks with more than 2-3 fps but i can run all 1.7 modpacks with 60+ even ones with 200+ mods i also have latest drivers and latest java recently did a fresh reinstall of both and it didnt change anything there are a few 1.10 modpacks the run ok but almost all just dont run well at all and i need assistance any help is appreciated <3

This is almost certainly a software, not a hardware issue. Not sure if it's your java (could be, some systems do not like minecraft with a newer java) or one of your mods is slowing things down (take out one by one until you don't have an issue) but in either case you're likely to get more specific help there.
