Hi.

I have a question regarding a project I would like to try that involves cooling a Xbox 360 console via submersion in mineral oil. I have no practical use for this seeing as I am primarily a PC gamer, but I need a project to do during college. My main question involves ways to adequately cool the oil once it is pumped from tank. I was planning on using a radiator setup, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas for cooling the oil more effectively.

Thanks for any input.

There are actually a handful of Xbox 360 waterblocks for watercooling the console.

Mineral oil submersion isn't as practical as it sounds and in almost every instance of people attempting to do so, it ends up leaking or spilling. Also, mineral oil permeates PCB so nothing can be resold.

If you are going to do something involving a radiator and pump, you'd be better off watercooling it rather than oil submersion.
