Mini CD drive?

So I highly doubt there is one. But could it be possible for there to be a CD drive that would fit in a HDD slot. I have the new 540 air and want to use the 5 1\4 bays for a res but still want the convenience of a CD drive with out having to pull and external one out constantly. Any ideas. I also wouldn't mind taking the side of my case off to use it.

CDs don't physically fit in an HDD slot, let alone the extra machinery needed to read them. You'd have to do some serious redefining of pi to make it fit.

You might be able to attach a laptop drive somewhere inside the case, though.

A CD (4.7" dia - 5.25" incl drive) will only fit into a HDD slot (3.5") if you run it through a shredder first.

Good thing I am getting a shredder monday. I went ahead and found room to 3M the CD drive inside my case. Doesnt look to bad.
