Hi, I need an adapter to connect two dell u3011 monitors (support DVI, VGA, HDMI) to this laptop: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FHSSQMN/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

But I need the adapter to support 2560x1600 resolution.

I've read conflicting information online which has left me confused. Do I need Mini DisplayPort to DVI or to Dual DVI? Could I use a USB adapter instead? All help is much appreciated, thank you.

Your laptop has DisplayPort, your monitor has DisplayPort, so would connect the two with a DisplayPort cable. Since your laptop's DP port uses the Mini connector style, you would need a cable with a Mini DisplayPort connector on one side and a full-size DisplayPort connector on the other side.
