Hey, guys. Simple question. Can i achieve 144hz on a monitor using a Mini DP to DVI-D cable? My notebook only has Mini DP entrances and HDMI, but the monitor doesn't support 144hz via HDMI and it is not recognizing my Displayport entrance, for some reason. So i'm tempted to give the DVI a try.
Monitor is the Asus VG248. There seems to be many people with this 'no displayport signal' problem with this monitor, so i'm trying to escape it while keeping the 144hz that i can't reach via HDMI.
