My old laptop is dying and I've been looking into replacement options; gaming laptops, tablets and mini-ITX systems. (Note that all this is initial research and speculation; I haven't quite decided what I want to spend and what I want to get yet)

With gaming laptops and tablets, the display isn't a problem, but when it comes to Mini-ITX systems, there seem to be very few decent options. It seems that most monitors under about 20" are old square ones with VGA input only, which probably wouldn't perform very well, and which would be a sub-optimal shape (I'd much rather have a rectangular monitor than a square one)

Then there are mini-monitors, which look perfect for what I want but for one thing; they all run off USB. If I went with Mini-ITX, I'd want to pack in as much power as possible at a reasonable price and so I'd like a dedicated graphics card and a DVI or DisplayPort connection. I've looked at a lot of models and can't find such a monitor, but does anyone know if one exists?

Here are some links to mini-monitors on Amazon :

That ASUS MB168B is a decent monitor for your budget.

This isn't really what I asked for. This, like the others, takes data over USB and so cannot be used for gaming with a dedicated graphics card.
Since asking the question, I have found the Gehic On-Lap Monitor, which seems to cover what I was looking for. Though if anyone knows of any others that fit my request, I'd still love to know.
