hello, I am not sure if this is the right topic section to post this in but:

I just purchased a whole new pc in parts (except for the PSU and storage, cuz ill be reusing these) and I will be building it myself. I want to use my current SSD (with Windows) and HDD and place it in the new PC, but I want them to be completely empty so it will be a fresh new start.
So I have an USB-stick I am planning to copy my Windows on with the installation media (I have the RETAIL Windows version) and plug this into the new PC with my current SSD.

I am just not sure how I can clean wipe them and have a totally clean Windows again on the new pc? What is the best way I should go with this?

On the NEW system, you want a fresh start with the OS?

If so, there is no need to 'copy' the existing Windows to the flash drive.

Instead, read this, for whichever OS is relevant.....
