Hello All,

This is my first post on TH, please excuse me if it is not in the right place. I have an old (but nice looking, IMHO Baby AT form factor case from the late 80s/early 90s. I would like to use it for the purposes of housing a new mini-itx home server. I was wondering whether or not this would be feasible without heavy modding. I would be willing to make a few reasonable modifications (ie, create a new backplate for the I/O.
Is this reasonable?

Thanks in advance!

While you may need to mod a little, the key will be replacing the AT power switch with a momentary type ATX switch.

I would think that it would be pretty easy to fit a mini-ITX board into a baby AT case, although you may need to drill and tap new standoffs, which is quite simple. And of course, I expect that you will use an ATX power supply or at least one of those nice little ITX "laptop" type PSUs.
