What I need $200 limit:

$200 Limit. I know it's not much but hopefully enough to not be a bottleneck for above videocard:

Motherboard ? video card above supports PCI express 3.0 but maybe a 2.1 slot is fine.

CPU? Use a cheaper AMD processor with no graphics onboard (why pay for it right)?

Memory?

Would an embedded motherboard with PCI-E x(16) be an option or would it bottleneck the above graphics card too much? Looking for medium gaming system.

this is for 180 bucks, which with the extra 20 bucks you can get a better GPU (like a r7 260x).

Thanks. Ironically I was looking at that overclockable pentium too! I can't seem to find the R7 260x low profile for only $20 more than the GeForce GT 740 2GB I have. Looks like this is very dooable for my son who has 2 weeks more to save working at a food store at age 14. Can't wait to do our first build together!

Thanks. Ironically I was looking at that overclockable pentium too! I can't seem to find the R7 260x low profile for only $20 more than the GeForce GT 740 2GB I have. Looks like this is very dooable for my son who has 2 weeks more to save working at a food store at age 14. Can't wait to do our first build together!
