Mini or Full?

Should I get a Zotac 1070 ti mini for $450, or a EVGA 1070 for $450? I have heard that the minis get very hot, and don't know what I should do.

If a full fits. why not?

if the EVGA is 1070Ti (you didn't put the Ti in OP), then if it fits, of course full sized card would be better.
