Any reason i shouldn't use a mini tower with my micro-atx board, i5-4570, and 7870?

as long as the parts fit and there's enough airflow, no reason not to if you want to. unless you plan to get another 7870 to crossfire; then you might wanna consider getting an ATX board instead.
