We need some different brands here in the US to provide some pricing competitions on our carriers.
Looks like a pretty sharp and stylish phone with nice enough specs that could nab some market share at a good pricing point.

I have a Find 5. Excellent specs, if a bit dated with respect to the CPU, but nonetheless same CPU as Nexus 4. Great phone overall, great battery life, awesome screen. Comes unlocked (including bootloader), so it's a breeze to develop for it.
If the mini version keeps up with this, I see no reason to avoid it, esp. if 5 inch screen is a tad too large for one's hands. One might argue the 3.7 inch screen might be too small, but all the iphones until ip5 had a 3.5 inch screen. This would be a tad larger, not to mention a better quality than ip4s.
