Miserable System Build

I decided to build a high end system about a month ago. This system was to be used for everything including gaming, TV tuner, music/video/photo server, and my general home computer. I purchased the following:

Cooler Master HAF 932
Intel DP45SG Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200
Antec Earthwatts 750 EA750
4 x 2 GB Corsair DDR3 XMS3
Buffalo BlueRay burner
SAS Backplane (3041 ???) 4 x hotswap hard drive enclosure
VisionTek HD2400 Pro Video Card
XFX 4850 Video Card
PNY GTX 285 Video Card
5 x 2 TB Western Digital Hard Drives
Highpoint 1740 raid controller
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250
24" ViewSonic 1080p Full HD
Windows Vista Ultimate

I put it all together and installed Vista Ultimate 64 and I would get to the screen where Windows would be loading with the bar going across and then I get a blue screen that flashes so fast that I can't read it and then it reboots and goes through this loop until I stop it. This is with the GTX 285 or the XFX 4850 installed. Also, this is without the Highpoint 1740. I can usually get in with the HD 2400 but this is a lower end card and I really don't want this card installed. I've tried swapping the video card as well as the processor. The video card is swapped between the ones listed above and the processor is swapped with an identical processor.


What do I do? Please Help!!!!!!!!

Try rebuilding with just the core components installed.

Motherboard
CPU
2GB of RAM
1 High-end Graphics card (either one)
and one Hard Drive.

After a fresh install, if you can get in, then start adding components one at a time. See where you start having issues.

Yeah, you really do not want to try to power up your first time with 5 HDDs and 3 GPUs in there.


Also, is 750 Watts enough juice for a quad core CPU, 3 Graphics Cards, and 5 Hard Drives? I think it might be, but you're also really pushing it. You may want to think of going for something closer to 850 watts.

Also, there should be a setting in BIOS to cancel the reboot on error (blue-screen). If you continue to have problems, disable that option and report back the blue-screen error message.
