Missing Events in event log

I am running performance monitor and I am getting this error message.

Missing Events in Event Log

Investigate why 59% (35,087) events were lost during data collection. The settings for Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) maximum buffers and buffer size may not be optimal depending on which data sets are being collected.


Should I be worried about this error message. Is there anyway I can fix it?

Asus z87 Maximus IV
I7-4770k processor
Geforce GTx650 TI
Gskill 8gb of memory
Corsair 850watt psu

Should I increase the ram in windows. I know I have 8192 mb installed of memory but windows says I have 300mb installed. How much should I increase it?

What? Where are you reading that 300MB is installed?

I read that you can increase the amount of virtual ram. Windows only uses a certain amount that set automatically. It was not in this article. Sorry to confuse you.

so if I set the page file as more. I know windows has it set as 300mb but I have 8192 mb. Should I use more than 300mb and I wont get that error?

Only one way to find out. Idk if that error you're getting has anything to do with the paging file but it seems like a reasonable theory.
