Hey guys so I noticed today my hard drive coming in is bare which means no SATA cable, I only got a CD ROM to install windows to my SSD If I install windows to my SSD then take out my ROM and use that SATA cable would everything be alright?
Once you install windows the CD drive will have no use to you, so you can use the SATA cable from that. I would recommend buying another one (they are like 3 bucks) just so you know its there when/if you need it.

Yeah I know I have to get around to It I just built my first computer and I'm eager to start gaming and I would have to order some SATA cables over newegg.ca which would take a while, What kind of SATA cables do you recommend ( Personally I would rather have white) I have the MSI Z87-G45 motherboard if that helps
SATA cables are not shipped with hard disks. They are usually part of motherboard's package. Buy any cheaper SATA cable for your need. Color is solely your choice.
